STH EPIC Off-Site Access
EPIC requires Citrix software be downloaded and installed on the workstation.
This is a one time install and Citrix will run as a background application.

If using Dragon Dictation in Epic download and install the following two extensions:
There are two logins required for accessing Epic
1. PointCore website login (Epic credentials)
2. Epic login (Epic credentials)
*** The PointCore login site will not alert you when you have been locked out due to many failed login attempts. ***
*** After five failed login attempts call support for assistance. ***

PointCore website link: https://citrix-hosted.pchosted.com (bookmark this link) Enter your Epic credentials and select the Log On button

Epic is accessed by selecting the Epic icon on the Citrix StoreFront
As Citrix opens the Epic login page you will see a pop-up for the downloads in the top right of the screen. This is normal and required to login. Select "Open file"
Citrix will start up and then the Epic login page should display.
*** To make the Citrix file always auto-open right click on the file and select "Always open files of this type" You should no longer have to select the "Open file" after adding this setting. ***
Enter your Epic credentials and select the Log In button
*** Epic User ID is not case sensitive. ***
